Welcome to Floret Trade. We are committed to protecting your personal data and your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, website, and services.

2. Information We Collect

To provide high-quality trading insights and account management, we collect:

• Personal Identifiers: CNIC/UIN, date of birth, Name, email address, phone number,  place of birth, nominee details, mother’s maiden name, occupation

• Financial Information: Bank account details, and trading history (if linked to our platform), bank statements, salary slips,
  tax returns, proof of income uploaded during account opening

• KYC/Compliance: FATCA/CRS declarations, PEP status, tax numbers
  
  

• Technical Data: IP address, device type, unique device identifiers, and operating system.

• Biometric Data: Fingerprint/face ID enrollment status and timestamps (stored on device only)
  
  
• Push Notification Tokens: Device tokens for sending price and portfolio alert.
  
  

• Usage Data: How you interact with our trading guides, which insights you view, and your preference settings.

• Professional Info: (If applicable) Your trading experience level and financial goals.

   

3. Detailed Use of Your Information

We use your data to power the Floret Trade ecosystem in the following ways:

• Algorithmic Insights & Personalization: We analyze your reading habits within our “Guides” and your simulated or actual trading patterns to suggest educational content that matches your skill level. If you are a beginner, our system prioritizes “Foundational Trading” content over “Advanced Derivatives” to prevent information overload.

• Predictive Analytics: We process aggregated, de-identified market data and user sentiment to generate “Trading Insights.” This helps us identify market trends which we then share as generalized guides. Note: We do not use your specific private trades to signal other users without your explicit consent.

• Regulatory Compliance (KYC/AML): To prevent money laundering and identity theft, we may use your personal identifiers to verify your identity against global watchlists as required by financial authorities.

• Behavioral Monitoring: We track how long you spend on specific charts or guides to improve our UI/UX and ensure our most valuable insights are easily accessible.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Integrations

In addition to standard service providers, Floret Trade interacts with:

• Brokerage API Partners: If you choose to link your trading account (e.g., via Plaid or direct API), we receive “read-only” or “trade-execution” tokens. We never see or store your raw brokerage login credentials.

• Market Data Providers: We share anonymized traffic data with our liquidity and data partners to ensure the price feeds in our app remain accurate and low-latency.

• Advertising & Attribution: We use identifiers like IDFA (Apple) or AAID (Google) to understand which marketing campaigns led you to Floret Trade. You can opt-out of this via your device’s “Limit Ad Tracking” settings.

• We share your data with:
  NCCPL (National Clearing Company of Pakistan): Full KYC data required for trading account opening
  AWS S3: Uploded identity and financial documents
  Firebase (Google): Push notification delivery
  Capital Stake: Market data queries (no personal data)
  Google: Authentication via Google Sign-In

5. Data Retention and Deletion

How long we keep your information depends on its nature:

• Active Accounts: We retain your profile and trading insights data for as long as your account is active.

• Closed Accounts: If you close your Floret Trade account, we generally delete your personal identifiers within 30 days. However, we are legally required to retain certain transaction logs and KYC data for up to 5–7 years to comply with financial record-keeping laws.

• Educational Data: Data regarding which “Guides” you have completed is kept in an anonymized, aggregated format to help us improve our curriculum.

• Data Deletion: 
  Users can delete their account from within the Floret Trade app under Settings → Delete Account.

• Upon confirmation, the account is deactivated immediately and all personal data is permanently anonymized within 30 days via an automated process.
  

6. Automated Decision-Making Disclosure

As a modern trading application, Floret Trade utilizes AI-driven models.

• Our Promise: While our AI provides “Insights” and “Suggestions,” the final “Buy” or “Sell” decision always rests with you. Our AI does not execute trades on your behalf without a specific, user-triggered “Auto-Trade” configuration (if available in your region).

• Logic Involved: Our models use historical price action, RSI indicators, and volume analysis to categorize market conditions.
